Being a new mom can be overwhelming, especially when you are inundated with so many product options from friends, family, social media, etc. We all want the best for our little nuggets but with so many options and opinions sometimes it felt like I was spinning in circles.
I’ve decided to dedicate this post to my Top 10 Favorite Baby Products. They are in no particular order. Some were suggested to me and some were not. Others I discovered on my own and thought I would share for any new mom or dad looking for some helpful and fun products for their little ones. Let’s get started…
FridaBaby NoseFrida

I know, I know. Sucking snot out of your child’s nose does not sound fun in any way, shape, or form but let me tell you…the NoseFrida is a life saver in our house. When my little dude started daycare he turned into one big mucus factory. It seemed like his nose would never clear or be snot free again. The NoseFrida was so helpful at getting the most snot out of his nose as possible. I love to use it right after bath time when the boogies are loosened up. I also love that it is easy to clean and disinfect because it comes apart. I never felt like bulb aspirators had a strong enough suction or that I could get them totally clean. I was also worried about mold growing in them. If you are a little nervous to use this device, I suggest just closing your eyes and going for it!
OXO Tot Perfect Pull Wipes Dispenser

(Affiliate Link)
I never was on board for getting a wipe warmer dispenser however I knew that I wanted something sturdy to hold wipes at the changing table. Low and behold I discovered this gem! The OXO Tot Perfect Pull Wipes Dispenser is awesome! I love the sleek design and how sturdy it is but the real magic is the weighted plate that lays on top of the wipes that helps you only pull one out at a time! It also helps by keeping the next wipe upright and waiting for you to grab. I can’t express how much I love this product. It comes in several colors which allows you to match it to whatever nursery theme you have going on.
FridaBaby DermaFrida

Yup. Another FridaBaby product is on my list. My son developed some eczema/dermatitis early on and still has issues with it today. I had to make sure that he was only using a certain type of shampoo/body wash and certain types of laundry detergent along with mostly wearing cotton. It helped but I decided to do some more research on products for his irritated skin. I came across the FridaBaby DermaFrida and figured I would give it a try. I replaced all of his washcloths and only use this at bath time now. It has definitely helped by exfoliating the affected areas of skin and I love the way it washes his hair! I wish I had this when he had cradle cap! You can also use it to apply lotion which is nice. A major plus is that it is 100% antibacterial and will not mold. You get two of the scrubbers and a carrying case. I love to keep one in the case in the overnight toiletry bag I have prepared for trips.
Burt’s Bees Baby Multipurpose Ointment

(Affiliate Link)
I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. It’s a mouthful to say but the Burt’s Bees Baby Multipurpose Ointment is amazing. I love to use it all over my nugget’s body to help keep him moisturized and to give him some relief from his dry patches. It has a very light, lovely scent. I’ve even used it as a treatment for minor diaper rash. In the winter I slather it all over, including his face and hair (his scalp gets dry). Burt’s Bees even claims it can be used on scratches and cuts. I have’t tried that yet but plan to at some point!
Little Mister Bow Ties

When I found out I was having a boy I decided right then and there that he would have a bow tie collection whether he likes them or not. I bought a couple of outfits that included traditional wrap-around-the-collar-and-clip bow ties and man, they were a pain. Somewhere along the line I discovered Little Mister on Instagram. Hallelujah! Their bow ties attach by buttoning on the top button of a shirt. GENIUS, right?! So much easier to put on and so much more comfortable and safe for the kiddo. They offer all sorts of sizes and even have men’s sizes! Daddy and kiddo can even get matching bow ties which I think is so cute. They constantly have sales, ordering is a breeze, and shipping is always pretty fast. I totally recommend them.
Grabease Utensils

I was up breastfeeding my little dude around two in the morning and needed to look at my phone for a bit to help me stay awake. As I was aimlessly scrolling through Instagram I discovered Grabease. My son just started eating some solids and I thought that these were such a great way to get him used to utensils. He took to them right way and still uses them to this day (he’s almost two). I prefer the fork to the spoon. The spoon is very shallow and he has a hard time getting enough food on it, but the fork is perfect. The choke protection shield was great for when he first started using them. I think I just read that they developed a toothbrush with the same choke protection shield which is awesome. I may have to give that a try at some point. I will follow up if I do.
Munchkin Silicone Placemats

(Affiliate Link)
I recently moved our son from a high chair to a booster in a chair at the dining room table. He thinks he’s a big shot now! I wanted to find a placemat that didn’t move because, let’s face it, kids love to throw whatever they can off the table at some point. I discovered these Munchkin Silicone Placemats and they have worked out really well. They stick to the table (our table is very textured and it still sticks!) and are so easy to clean up. I also love that they are easy to fold or roll up to take along if needed.
Nuby Frozen Pop Tray

(Affiliate Link)
The Nuby Frozen Pop Tray is so great! It came in handy during teething episodes and is perfect for creating healthy, frozen snacks. My favorite thing to do is place some yogurt in the tray and make frozen yogurt pops. My kiddo loves it! The handles are the perfect size and shape for little hands and the whole product is very easy to clean up. It’s even top rack dishwasher safe. Win-win.
Muslin Swaddles
Several friends and family members told me to make sure that I got some muslin swaddles…and boy they were so right. They are not only for swaddling but can be used as a cover for breastfeeding, a burp cloth, a picnic blanket, a blankie (my son is addicted), etc. We have to keep one in the car and several in the house. My kiddo can’t go to sleep without his blankie (it could be worse, right?). I bought the one pictured above but there are so many great ones out there. I also love the Aden+Anais ones as well. The best thing about them is that they get softer and softer each wash. I kinda want one for myself…
Boudreaux’s Butt Paste (Maximum Strength)

(Affiliate Link)
Like so many other kiddos, my son gets diaper rash. It’s particularly bad whenever he is teething. Like, I mean, he gets open sores it’s so bad. We let him “air out” as much as possible but when he has to have a diaper on we make sure to put Boudreaux’s Butt Paste (Max. Strength) on to give him some relief. It is the only diaper cream that I’ve found that actually stays on his bum (and other places) and doesn’t come right off. I always keep a tube of it in my diaper bag and a tub of it on the changing table.
